It was a cold, rainy day for humans, but it was perfect for the running dogs. The cool weather made it so the dogs could run without getting too hot.
The people are very dog oriented. We saw RVs with dog pictures all over them, cupcakes made to look like puppies, and owners talking to their dogs (big German boar hounds) like they are little fuzzy-wuzzy babies.
We went to see Coup and Chili race (Coup in blue, Chili in yellow). They both ran great races. In the end Coup finished in the top 3 and Chili was disqualified and banned for life, for attacking the dog that dared beat him to the "rabbit."
